Been burgled
Got home from a weekend away to find we’ve been burgled. Cunts jimmied open our kitchen window.

So far we’ve found they’ve had all my wife’s jewelry away, including stuff that was left to her by her Nan and her great aunt that are irreplaceable, as well as some her parents had made for our wedding day. She’s devestated and seeing her like this is killing me.

I’m not a violent man, but god help whoever did this if I ever get hold of them. Fucking parasitic cunts

been there a few times myself Joe, burglars for me are on a par with child molesters. I'd chop their fucking hands off, what's sad is the coppers couldn't give a shit about this sort of thing now, crime number handed over and tough shit. there is zero deterrent to this lawless scum so whatever it takes to defend your home, use it

Re: Been burgled
Very sorry to hear this Joe.

When did it become 'cool' for kids to take things that are not theirs that people have worked hard for? Round here it appears to be scooters. Some poor fucker can't go to work on it just because some feckless little cunts fancied riding it and smashing it up.

I'm with the post below saying that a burglar feeds just above a kiddie-fiddler at the bottom of the scummy pond. It really fucking boils your piss at the thought someone's been in your house even looking at your stuff- let alone stealing it.

It's only happened once to me (touch wood) when I lived for a short time in Brixton (surprise surprise). Nicked my stereo video-recorder.

The fucking copper who came round was almost gleeful with his 'well it's your fault really for not having an alarm'. 'Oh yes, I can see they've seen no lights on. kicked the door in and just went to the first bedroom which unluckily for you was yours'. No fucking shit Mr Sherlock fucking Holmes. 'Of course, they'll be back now they know you've got some nice stuff. It's the lot from the crack den around the corner from here'.

I don't know who I hated more- the burglar or the copper!

The snooty neighbour collared me on my way to work shortly after and gloated 'well we've lived here for twenty years and never been burgled- it always seems to be your house. haha'!

I spoke to the people who lived upstairs and they confirmed that the house had been burgled about ten times before we moved in. Thanks you letting agent cunts.

It was an ex-formula one racing drivers house (some Paddy who's name I can't even remember) and we withheld the rent until he installed a burglar alarm. I also (like a cunt) stayed in on two Friday nights with a baseball bat and all the lights off.

Anyway, they obviously didn't like the alarm and snooty neighbour was sitting with his family when two large coloured gentlemen kicked his door in and casually picked up the TV him and his family were watching and walked out the door with it. I'll admit I laughed

We all moved out shortly after. Fuck that shit.

Absolute Cunts of the highest order, sorry to hear that Joe.

My family too been robbed several times one of the worst things about it is the feeling of violation of ones space, the house that you have lived in for so long almost feels foreign to you.
Exactly the same thing happened to my Sister regarding Jewelry left to her by her mum and dad she was very annoyed cried had a few bad days but got over it, yes it is painful but tell her there is nothing more important than your health and the health of your family everything else can be replaced ok not the sentiment but things are just things and family love and health beats Things.

I have just read the posts below and they are correct, The Police are unsympathetic when it comes to burglary and seem to have absolutely no intention of catching the culprits.
I think they look upon burglary as a lost cause.

Absolute bollocks. Of course some things can't be replaced. Dead mum's jewelry?

Joe, he's right about one thing- your health. While you're good and healthy go down the hardware shop and buy the biggest claw-hammer they've got. You've got every right to be fucking LIVID.

I've only been burgled once, on a New Year's Eve.

I was ill that year and stayed at home and went to bed early.

They weren't kids, but the cowardly fuckers pissed off sharpish when they discovered I was in, despite outnumbering me two to one and me looking like death warmed up.

Fucked up the front door, though

God forbid if someone close to you dies what importance does sentimental jewellery have? or when God forbid you get a life threatening disease and you have to go through months of Chemotherapy etc do you think of jewellery ? nothing is as precious as life nothing .

What I am saying is yes they have sentimental value but in the grand scheme of things they are not important at all just as my sister got over it and millions of others, so will Joe C,s missus .

Sorry to hear this Joe.... MATE's gaff (Brentwood) has been broken in 3 times in the last 6 months.. he has got a big fuck off American Bulldog.cross that went spastic and woke up my MATE the first two times... last time they was out with the dog and got proper done over... absolute scum...

Our old Vid' shop got done over in the late 80's... £500 nicked... Tv, vid and my old wog box we used to listen to... old bill called so shut was shut .... me and the missus (girlfriend at the time) popped down Old Leigh... on a bench were 4 young blokes all drinking beer and listening to music on a wog box... my wog box (I knew it was mine as i had a tipex crossed hammers I done on the front)... called up me step Dad... he told me to stay there whilst he called the old bill... within 10 mins had 4 cop cars down there and nicked them all.. went to court... and they admitted they had done it but had already moved on our goods and spent all the money... even though 2 of them had done bird for burgalry the judge gave them all suspended sentences... 1 month later they came back to the shop and done it over again... and got away with it again... one of the reasons why I have certain implements hidden in specific places in the gaff,,, I'll gladly do time rather than get injustice from the usual route

Re: Been burgled
Joe C, sorry to hear that, it's horrible when they take those irreplaceable things.

It happened to me and my Mrs years ago, in our case they were total chancers and left things that they could have sold on for decent enough money, but did take things that were virtually wortheless to them, but irreplaceable to us, gifts from parents etc, Christening things.

Not what you want to hear and the police will probably (or already have) tell you, that it's not unusual for the fuckers to revisit - we fitted our place out with no end of alarms after it happened to us.

Re: Been burgled
Out of curiosity Joe, where do you live?

I was in england for the Leicester match and earlier the day I arrived my mum was half burgled. Middle of the day while she was shopping. Two youngsters. Luckily a little girl neighbour saw them knock and then one jump over the back garden wall and went and told her mum. She went to my mums and banged on the door and shouted, as she could hear draws being opened upstairs. She called the police too and said that she didn't know if my mum was in or not, so on this occasion the old bill came round quite quickly.

A mate of mine who's like a nephew to my mum jumped over the wall and went in before the old bill came, but they'd already legged it. All they got was the keys to the kitchen/back door. Locksmith in the next day but I was sick with worry as I was stranded at Stanstead airport that night due to a very delayed flight, car rental village closed until 6am.

Thank God for the neighbour who banged on the door and called the police, or they would have cleaned out whtever they could. She is sure they live on the estate. I'll be back for the Arsenal match for a couple of days.

Anybody who knows any herberts that do this sort of thing on the five links estate in Laindon, I would appreciate a whomail, because the kind of cunts that would rob a 74 year old woman living alone need sorting.

Re: Been burgled
Someone's memory is what counts, if that is positive and full of love what is a gift compared to that?.
Obviously it is far too soon for this to come into someone's mind when they have just been burgled but the gift from the aunt or mum will never ever stop being precious just because it has been stolen by some bastard, but at the end of the day there are far more important things to behold, than something you could once physically hold that is now gone.
I truly hope that you find whatever has been lost I may be being slightly insensitive and philosophical which was not my intent.

Joe

Sorry to hear that mate. Happened to me last year while i was at the OS. Telly, laptop, tablets etc all gone. Nothing i couldn't replace luckily. 4days for old bill to,come 'round.. Maybe i shouldnt have said to the copper that had i posted a rather rude twitter message about muslims they'd have been around in minutes.

The sense of knowing my 'space' had been invaded and violated was a feeling i wasnt expecting. Fucked me right up. Never thought it would bother me that much. Now i just want to stove any cunts face in who's hanging around my building who i just know were involved. The pretend homeless lot who live in a drug shelter nearby.

WHU(Exeter) 1:31 Mon Dec 4
Re: Been burgled
Hasans, same here, think it was 4 days after.

Our neighbours had people working in their house, and apparently it's not unusual when that happens for chancers to 'blend in' gain access to back gardens and then do places nearby - the police said they would have a word with our neighbours, but after chatting to the neighbour a few days after that hadn't bothered, not that it would've amounted to anything, but if they said they were going to, then you do half expect them to actually do it.

When I phoned them up, for a reference number for the insurance only, they asked me to (a) not touch anything until they had come round (4 days later) BUT to to (b) also phone back that night with a full list of what had been taken.

A kind of made B impossible, but there you go.....
